This 16-week course focuses on developing the core skills every artist needs. Students will learn how to see like an artist, understand value and proportion, and create drawings with depth, balance, and realism.

We’ll explore a variety of materials — graphite, colored pencils, watercolor pencils, and soft pastels — while studying form, light, and color. Each class includes step-by-step instruction, guided drawing practice, and optional at-home sketchbook work.

By the end of the course, students will have a solid foundation in drawing and a collection of finished pieces, including still life, landscape, and portrait drawings.

Schedule: 1 hour per week
Cost: $95 per 4-week session (all materials included)
Students may register monthly or for the full 16-week semester at a discounted rate of $375
