Sewing 101 @ Indialantic

Our Sewing 101 Monthly class is designed for students who already have basic sewing experience and are ready to continue building their skills through new projects and techniques.

Because the Sewing 101 class is already in progress, new students joining now must have previously completed an Intro to Sewing or Learn to Sew class. This ensures they are comfortable using a sewing machine and have the basic skills needed to participate in the current projects.

Returning Sewing 101 students can simply continue where they left off and work on projects appropriate for their current skill level.

Students will continue developing their sewing skills by learning how to use a sewing machine, cut patterns and fabric, practice basic hand sewing, and explore techniques used to design and construct projects. Projects may include crafts, accessories, home décor items, and garments.

We start with simple projects and gradually move into more challenging ones. Each project introduces new techniques while reinforcing skills students have already learned. We work at each student’s pace and learning style so they can build confidence and grow their skills.

Equipment & Materials

• Sewing machines are provided, or your child is welcome to bring their own.
• All class materials are included in the monthly tuition.
• Students are welcome to bring their own sewing supplies or materials if they prefer. The class tuition remains the same even if students provide their own supplies.
• Students will work on their projects at the studio. Each student will have a small container to hold their current project so projects don’t get forgotten at home.

Monthly Tuition & Registration

$120 per month

Registration and payment are required for each month to reserve your child’s seat.

If your child would like to continue into the following month, please register and pay by the 20th to keep their current seat.

Seats that are not reserved by the 20th will be released on the 21st and made available to other students.

Because class sizes are limited, we recommend reserving your child’s seat by the deadline if they would like to continue sewing with us.
